WWII Pinups
The GI barracks were not complete without the pinup. Whether tacked onto a wall, folded inside a wallet that crossed battlefields, or hidden away as a prized possession in a prison camp, pinup girls gave the GI a glimpse of American beauty and a link to the home they left so far behind. Famous pinups included: Betty Grable, Jane Russell, Rita Hayworth, Marlene Dietrich and many, many more.
