Conducted antisubmarine Operations from bases in the US, the Caribbean, Newfoundland, Northwest Africa, and England from Oct 1942 until Oct 1943. Afterward, trained bombardment organizations and personnel. Inactivated on 21 Mar 1946. Disbanded on 8 Oct 1948.
