The Library and Museum, a non-profit organization, is organized exclusively for educational purposes; more specifically to preserve the history of the Army Air Forces / Army Air Corps 1907-1947 and the USAF.
The library and museum honor the memory and achievements of the servicemen and servicewomen who served their country. Displays and artifacts include but are not limited to memorabilia and biographies, written and oral, uniforms, medals, ribbons, equipment and other gear.
We are historians and archivists. Archiving as it is defined is the filing, logging, storing, and documenting. In this regard we apply these functions with all items in our collection including uniforms, gear, general order documents, flight logs, histories, diaries, scrap books, photo albums, training manuals, graduation books and much more.
We place paper materials into archival sleeves where possible. This enables us to easily handle materials; preserving the paper and negating the necessity of gloves to handle the materials. Some archival materials also serve a dual function; that of display.
The Army Air Corps Library and Museum is dedicated to the preservation and display of material in our possession.
Do you have WWII memorabilia that you are not sure what to do with it? The children don't want it? Then let us help you preserve this history by donating these items to the Army Air Corps Library and Museum. We are accepting donations in the form of uniforms, medals, ribbons, patches, photos, memorabilia, papers, gear and equipment. We also accept monetary donations to support our operations and long term plans. This website is part of the Army Air Corps Library and Museum, and as a 501(c)(3) Non-profit, your qualifying donations are tax deductible.

Historical Artifacts: We are looking for photos, documents and other types of artifacts including uniforms, medals, insignia, gear, manuals, and training material. We accept electronic/scans or originals of pictures and paper records. A General Order could be an award document that contains information on many servicemen. Special Orders may contain transfers or other information. Flight records, accident reports, maintenance logs, after action reports, pilot encounter reports, diaries and biorgraphies; all of these types of documents help us support or mission: preserving your history!
